PhDr. Marie Hes Svobodová, Ph.D.
PhDr. Marie Hes Svobodová, Ph.D. is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. During her postgraduate studies she was engaged in phonetic research in the field of forensic phonetics – speaker identification. In 1994 she became a university lecturer at Charles University in Prague. She currently works externally with private universities as a leader of rhetoric and communication skills seminars. She also works as a private forensic expert in the field of audio-expertise – phonoscopy (speaker identification). In the private sector, for almost twenty years she has been engaged primarily in consulting and advisory activities in the field of linguistic communication: culture of speaking and public speaking, presentation skills, argumentation and negotiation techniques, crisis communication and intercultural communication in the business world.
