Ing. Miroslav Sponer, Ph.D., MBA

Ing. Miroslav Sponer, Ph.D., MBA is an expert in strategic and financial management with extensive experience in education and consulting. He graduated from the University of Economics, specializing in international finance within the field of economic policy. He completed his doctoral studies at Masaryk University, defending his dissertation on the monetary concept of the EU.

In 1999 – 2005, he led the education department at Českomoravská Stavební Spořitelna. Since 2006, he has been working as a consultant and lecturer, collaborating with leading educational and consulting institutions. His expertise lies in strategic management, personnel process optimization, and employee development. As a lecturer, he focuses on corporate finance and managerial skills.

Until 2017, he worked at the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University. In 2017 – 2018, he lectured at Karel Engliš College, where he also led the Institute of Management. Currently, he teaches at the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies at CTU, specializing in corporate economics, strategic and financial management, and international finance. His research and publishing activities focus on corporate performance evaluation, monetary policy, and the international financial system.
