Ing. Petra Štamfestová, Ph.D.

Ing. Petra Štamfestová, Ph.D. is currently working at the Department of Strategy (formerly Business Economics) at the Faculty of Business Economics, University of Economics in Prague; she is involved in teaching, research and consulting activities. It focuses on areas related to corporate finance, both in the context of short-term and long-term evaluation, planning and management. She teaches courses such as Business Economics, Corporate Finance, Managerial Finance, Financial Management, Strategy and others. She cooperates with other companies in consulting and training activities. She is the author and co-author of publications focusing mainly on the management and performance improvement of companies in the so-called new economy. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics in Prague. She subsequently completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University in Brno.
