Meaning at Work
At work, it is crucial to understand the meaning of what we do and what we contribute to it. From the manager’s point of view, the ability to show people the meaning of their work is one of the important competencies. If people understand how their activities fit into the overall company effort, they find intrinsic motivation more easily and are on the best path to being happy (at work). The meaning of what we do is not always clear. Not everyone works as a doctor and saves lives. Most people in normal jobs don’t see the meaning of their work on a plate like this. Therefore, in addition to general insight into the topic, we bring a specific method of job crafting, with which everyone can discover their “why”.
