I decided to study after taking up the position of manager of a large section of the hospital’s service activities, where over a hundred employees work. I wanted to learn new and modern methods of working with people, how to motivate them, how to ensure their job satisfaction, how to get the best possible performance out of them for the satisfaction and functioning of our employer, and how to keep them in the team. I chose the ESBM school based on a positive reference from a graduate close to me, and I must say that this decision was the right one. The school offers professional accredited vocational education in the form of full-time study in Prague, which has always been perfectly organized. Participating in the seminars was very beneficial, I appreciated that the number of participants on individual teaching days was limited to a maximum of ten people. The teaching took place in an interactive form with the lecturer, with a focus on specific cases from practice. Processing the seminar papers and then the final paper was not easy, but while writing them, I learned a lot of other things needed for managing people, strategy, motivation, etc. An indisputable advantage for studying and writing theses was the possibility of using access to an online library with a wide range of specialist literature. I am very happy for the opportunity to study at the ESBM school, which I will fully use in my job now and in the future.
