Mgr. Nela Laciaková, MBA
I decided to study MBA because of my active long-term work in the field of management and I felt that I needed to move somewhere further. I was mainly driven by the motivation to improve in the process of leading, communicating and motivating people.
I studied the Leadership and soft skills program. I chose this program mainly because I think that these soft skills, i.e. soft communication skills, play a very important role in achieving success in any work environment. I consider the biggest benefit of my studies to be that I learned to simplify things, not to complicate them, and thus save a lot of time. I try to apply this acquired knowledge specifically in the work environment by learning to plan more effectively and to be more prudent in stressful situations.
During my studies, I made new contacts, especially with lecturers and other students, where we had the opportunity to listen to the opinions of people from different fields of work and share their experiences with them.
I rate the quality of the study and the teaching team at a very high level. They were very helpful to their students. As for the feedback, it was quick, we didn’t wait long for answers. What I appreciate most about the teaching team is that they guided us, when there was a problem, to come up with a solution to the problem on our own, which actually enabled us to better apply this knowledge in our practice. I clearly started to apply the acquired knowledge in the process of leadership, motivation, communication of people, time management.
What’s great is that this study can be accomplished in a relatively short period of time. That’s basically within a year. This study is suitable for busy people who would like to get this degree, this study. As for the combination of this study. I really liked the interactive format, so we had the opportunity to come in person, which allowed us to meet other lecturers and other new people. What was great is the online study, where we had the opportunity to log into our student section, where we had all the accessible learning materials. It was an amazing and great system.
