The second block of study is specialized block and consists of three educational modules, which the student completes within his specialization. The modules of the specialization take place within one course day. Students choose an exact date from a wide range directly in the student section.

Philosophy of Adult Education

Syllabus

The Philosophy of Adult Education module provides a comprehensive overview of the philosophy of thinking and the development of pedagogical thinking, which was the basis for the emergence of adult education. Lifelong learning as a narrower concept of andragogy develops primarily socialization and personalization of the individual points to behavioral, communicative, and psychoanalytic theories. Teaching focuses on current approaches to education and their gradual use in practice. Students will get acquainted with different perspectives on education and deepen existing information about its development. After completing the module, students will be enriched with managerial skills and abilities needed not only for successful communication and team leadership.

Andragogy

Syllabus

In the module, students are introduced to various techniques and methods of adult education, including coaching. They will understand the basic principles and essence of the educational process and understand specific aspects of development and adult education within the organization. Attention will be paid to current topics of adult education – education of specific target groups, effectiveness and quality of educational activities for adults, etc. Upon successful completion of the module, students will be able to identify the educational needs of employees (subordinates), and will be able to plan, implement and subsequently evaluate educational processes in the organization.

Knowledge Management

Syllabus

Knowledge management balances on the border of human resource development and information management. It is a modern discipline that enables the expansion of individual knowledge across the organization (company), which creates a higher level of knowledge – knowledge of the organization. Linking information and sharing it, especially for the needs of business activities and contact with the customer, is nowadays key to achieving the company’s strategic goals. The module is focused mainly on practice and students will master the methods and techniques of using knowledge in the decision-making and management processes of the organization with the support of information and communication technologies. They will learn to create, transfer and apply knowledge and thus gain a key competitive advantage.
